I am sure some of you read about my um breakdown the other day. Even though I had to work the next day I went ahead and continued to think. I was like something has got to give here. What am I doing wrong or I am not trying hard enough. I wasn't sure what to think. I do know not being happy about my work is not helping. Well more so the pay than anything then following behind that is the people I work with. A topic for another day.
I began to remember why I was doing this. I want to feel good about myself. Look good in everything I wear. And most of all shock my family. I will be seeing them for one week in june. The last week in June. I want to be between 120lb/54.5kg and 140/63.6. I may not have the greatest job here but I will show them I have the hottest body. I am growing out my natural hair, taking vitamins, super cleaning my teeth and continuing to work on my skin. I deserve to be happy. Sometimes it is just hard to remember why it is so important. For me it does set my mood. Hubby will know too lol.
As usual I was surfing the net looking for things people have done to lose weight fast. If someone out there has succeed then I want to see if it is something I can do. I ended up coming across this lady on youtube. Her youtube name is Prettykeli. Her video "how I lost 20lbs in 2 weeks" is what caught my attention. I mean the before and after is impressive. Of course for us trying to achieve the ultra slim bod her after photo is just a dent. Hey a dent in the weight loss and looking slimmer is better than nothing.
This is what she did. An hour of cardio in the morning and in the evening. After her last cardio session she does not eat. She also says no to sugar, salt, beef and pork. She said yes to water, 5-6 small meals a day, cold showers and of course her 2 hours of cardio a day.
Now you guys know I am not doing no two hours of cardio a day. I am lucky to get in an hour to an hour and a half. She recommends no less than one hour of cardio a day minimum. She said if you can get in just 30 that is fine too.
So I am going to give that exercise plan a shot. I am going to follow my veggie challenge because I liked eating veggies a lot. It made me feel good. So I want to follow that food plan again. I am going to try it for 2 weeks. Starting sunday or monday. I have not decided yet.
If you want to join me on this mini challenge feel free to let me know. That will be super awesome. I can't wait to see how this goes. Will be catching up on your blogs tomorrow night/thursday night. I am off friday but will be washing clothes and I am sure that will take most of my day. Wish I had washer and dryer but hey the life of living in an apartment :-/

yes, you do deserve to be happy. everyone deserves to be happy. i'm glad you know that. just putting it out there because a lot of people don't and it hurts to see them think like that.
ReplyDeletethe problem with that is that i am not a rabbit. i cannot survive on just vegetables i'll die and cry and fry potatoes in olive oil. which is why i'm so fat but whenever i do a monotonous diet, even if it's just eating something i love, like peanut butter, something in me completely fucks it over. i can't do low carb or high carb. my diet has to be varied, though i'd let you know if i do decide to do a week with you or something! though i doubt i'll actually be able to do it. :P

PS. even thinking about carrots makes me cringe for the amount i used to consume in a day was not okay.
Lol no rabbit. I am putting it into shakes. Easier and better tasting. I am going to try to have one two small ones a day.
DeleteI am craving sugar, greasy, junk food at the moment but I have to wait darn it. Wait until sunday, the day before I start the plan. I going to fuck that food up, lol.
PSS. it may work if the monotonous thing in question is a Cadbury chocolate bar.
ReplyDeleteYou definetly deserve the best, you have been working so hard and your not about to give up now!
ReplyDeleteStay motivated sweetie <3
Thank you for noticing. I have been trying really hard. I am hoping to see 160-165 by the end of this little challenge.
DeleteI like your "I'll show them" attitude. It's very inspiring!
ReplyDeleteDamn right! Like my uncles wife. She is over weight and very stuck up. I want to show that witch yeah I may not be rolling in money and not happy with were I live but I look better than you!
DeleteI'd love to join you - but I don't have time for two hours cardio :( and the veg thing doesn't work while you're BFing (as little as one might be) - I am however starting C25k :) Im gonna say GL and do let us know how it goes..
ReplyDeletePS: make sure to have some lean protein in that diet else you will crash with 2 hours of cardio a day
Yay! Thanks for joining me. Girl I am doing 30 in the morning and 30 in the evening. I don't have that much free time.
DeleteI am turning my veggies into shakes. It will be easier to digest them starting off until I get use to it.
Yeah I saw that on your page. Maybe I can join you and start training for 25k. Sadly I don't have a smart phone to do all that good stuff.
I will be eating chicken and eggs!
Good luck my dear. I think you will do awesome.
ReplyDeleteXOXO
Thanks. It's not going to be the same not hearing from you as much :-(
DeleteI must remember we need to take baby steps.
Winter, i know u cant do it. Show em how strong we are. Count me in for the challenges. Cos im trying to have cardio at least 1hrs each day but it kept failing. Bout diet i ll update in my blog.
ReplyDeleteUrgh sorry for not being there...but I think at least you will understand what I'm going through with looking for a job. I think your family will get a kick-ass-make-over surprise they didn't expect. Winter you're one of my biggest inspiration here, I would join you but my lazy ass doesn't want to do cardio, other than that I can keep up with limiting that food and drinking water, but I am in a constant search and applying daily at 5-10 places, so I don't think I could track it and keep it up for 2 weeks...But I cant wait to see your results and after pics....
ReplyDeleteI love how motivated you are! Sounds like a great plan, I hope you pull through and get results. I'm gonna check up on it! ;)
